News from the Week
The top story was Tuesday's primary elections, which featured District #2 commissioner Mark Walter fending off a challenge from Mike Anton, reauthorization of a countywide road millage and a split vote on an annual $29 per-household fee for five years to fund the county recycling program. Other stories included growing controversy on the Michigan Supreme Court that Leelanau resident Justice Elizabeth Weaver is at the heart of and a tour of Cedar from the Glen Arbor Sun.
