Leelanau Northern Lights Photos

  Below are some photos of the northern lights (aurora borealis) from Monday, November 5th, 2001 and Sunday, October 21st, 2001. The photos were taken in Leland, Michigan with a tripod-mounted Olympus C-2100 UZ from 10 PM to midnight (Nov. 5) and from 10:30 PM to midnight (Oct. 25) by Andrew McFarlane. Although he missed the red curtains in October, he got them in November!
