The Record-Eagle also has a great feature on the Resorters, Traverse City's minor league ballclub of the early 1900s that featured future major leaguer Bundy Brief. The team played in the Michigan State League against the Cadillac Chiefs, the Muskegon Lumbermen and the Holland Dutchmen.
