Suttons Bay Tendercare Opens in Suttons Bay

Filed under: Leelanau, development, northport, suttons bay — Andrew McFarlane @ 7:48 am

The Record-Eagle reports that Tendercare, Inc. will open their new long-term care facility in Suttons Bay today. The 62 residents at Tendercare's Northport location will be moved to the new 72-bed center next to the Suttons Bay school. All employees from Northport will be moving to the new location and Parkside Management Services is developing Northport Highlands, a senior housing complex at the Leelanau Memorial site. That project will include a mix of independent and assisted living and is expected to open in 2007.
