Suttons Bay selects new superintendent

Filed under: Leelanau, schools, suttons bay — Andrew McFarlane @ 11:37 am

The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports that the Suttons Bay school board has voted unanimously to hire Mike Murray, currently principal at Traverse City Central High School, the superintendent's post.

Board President Steve Hall said Murray was the best choice for Suttons Bay because of his familiarity with northern Michigan and his experience as principal at elementary, middle and high schools.

"He's really run through the different levels,” Hall said.
