Great Indoor Folk Festival ~ Feb 12, 2012
The 4th Annual Great Indoor Folk Festival takes place this Sunday, February 12 in Building 50 at the Grand Traverse Commons. The festival runs from noon to 5:30, and it is family-friendly and free, though you're encouraged to donate through "busker buckets."

There will be 6 different stages with over 50 musicians on seven different stages. read more »

Suttons Bay Football Team Advances to Semifinals

The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports that the 12-0 Suttons Bay Norsemen turned three Jordan Peplinski touchdown runs and a stalwart 2nd half defensive performance into a 20-14 Division 6 regional football victory over Calumet at the Superior Dome on Friday night.

Suttons Bay advances to the Michigan state football semifinals where they will face Saginaw Nouvel (10-0) next weekend in the semifinals at Grayling at 1 PM.Â Nouvel is fresh off thumping St. Charles 56-0. Go Norsemen!

I took some actions photos of the 2008 suttons bay football team, so if there are any parents out there that want sports photos of their kid playing sports, like football, volleyball, cross country and soccer feel free to check out
