Great Indoor Folk Festival ~ Feb 12, 2012
The 4th Annual Great Indoor Folk Festival takes place this Sunday, February 12 in Building 50 at the Grand Traverse Commons. The festival runs from noon to 5:30, and it is family-friendly and free, though you're encouraged to donate through "busker buckets."

There will be 6 different stages with over 50 musicians on seven different stages.   read more »

Suttons Bay Fall Art Walk

Dan Oberschulte - courtesy Michigan Artists GalleryThis Friday (Oct 21) the galleries & shops of the village of Suttons Bay will host award-winning regional artists. This annual event offer visitors a chance to hear live music, sample wines from many of Leelanau's wineries and register to win a $250 shopping spree at the end of the annual Suttons Bay Fall Art Walk.

The event is sponsored by the Suttons Bay Chamber of Commerce and you can contact Sue Ann Round at the Michigan Artists Gallery (271-4922) for more information.
