Sleeping Bear Dunegrass Music Festival

Dunegrass, Northwest Michigan’s premier outdoor music festival, will be held July 31, August 1 and 2, 2009. The festival location will be on the Empire Eagle’s club property on M-72, approximately 6 miles east of Empire, Michigan.

2009 marks the 17th year for Dunegrass, a festival that offers a wide range of musical styles. This year’s lineup includes bands and individual performers offering blues, roots, rock, reggae, bluegrass, progressive, funk and contemporary acoustic music, performing on two stages.

Weekend passes will be $70 for a three-day ticket. Advance tickets may be purchased online. Ticket price at the gate will be $85 for a three-day ticket.

The location offers more than 20 acres of property for parking, primitive camping, food and craft vendors, safety services, kids tent, events tent and 3 wonderful days of beautiful music.
