"One" Music Live at the Northport Pavilion

September 9, 2009/in calendar, family, fun, Leelanau, music, northport, photo, youth

The musical duo of Dan and Kristin Frank will perform Live for the first time this year, Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Northport Marina Pavilion from 7:00 PM – 9:00PM.

Kristin describes their music and the inspiration for their concert:

We’re a musical duo that has been performing together for 8 years now. I play piano and sing, Dan plays guitar and djembe. All of our music are original compositions that stem from life, loss, and love. Musical influences are Tori Amos, A Fine Frenzy, Regina Spektor, Fleming and John, but we don’t like being categorized into a box. This is our music that is completely raw and real, introspective at times, painful at times. Music from the Spirit and the soul. We love the opportunity to give back to our community, which is why we’re doing a free concert in the park the Friday following the end of Music in the Park. Our music is family friendly, so all are welcome!
