Northport's Cars in the Park

Filed under: calendar,Community,family,fun,holiday,Leelanau,nonprofit,northport,youth — Leelanau.com @ 11:38 am

Cars in the ParkJoin the crowd at the 13th Annual Cars in the Park on Saturday, May 29 at Haserot Park in Northport from 9 am. to 4 p.m. A great place to see all types of vehicles: antiques, classics, hot rods, muscle cars and motorcycles. Cars in the Park is the major fundraiser for the Northport-Omena Firefighter's Association! It's a great day on the water looking at some beautiful examples of the best in motor transportation. In addition to viewing the cards you can get hot dogs, brats, sodas and water, participate in a 50/50 raffle, a bucket raffle and guess what time one car will blow up.

Also, check out the Cars in the Park facebook event page for up-to-date information.

  1. I absolutely love events like these. Of course I love the cars but the people and the food make it so much fun and interesting. I think it's great that they use this venue as a fundraiser for the Firefighter's Association. Couldn't go to a more deserving group of people!

  3. I am totally in love with oldtimer, especially with muscle cars. Problem is that this cars spend more time in a garage than on the road. I had a 1986 Mercedes a few years ago but didn`t manage to repair it on my own. Expensive hobby...

  4. @Ardian: well you should try bringing your Mercedes to the expert. Don't let a very beautiful thing just pass away.
