Great Indoor Folk Festival ~ Feb 12, 2012
The 4th Annual Great Indoor Folk Festival takes place this Sunday, February 12 in Building 50 at the Grand Traverse Commons. The festival runs from noon to 5:30, and it is family-friendly and free, though you're encouraged to donate through "busker buckets."

There will be 6 different stages with over 50 musicians on seven different stages.   read more »

Northport Home Tour Announced

The Shopping Cart HouseThe Leelanau Enterprise reports that the homes for the annual Northport Womens Club Home Tour (Wed, July 18 from 9:30 - 4:30) have been set. The five homes include Dan and Sue Brondyk’s chameleon home on M-22 between Leland & Northport (pictured right) and the Putnam Cloud Tower House in Omena, home of the Omena Historical Society & Museum.

Tickets are available at locations around Northport & Omena - click over to the Enterprise for additional contacts!

  2. As an artist I was visually blown away the first time I encountered this house driving north on M22. I would very much see the inside, as I consider it one of the most exciting personal home structures I have seen in the area.

    Regrettably my budget required my wife and I to build a more traditional but somewhat unconventional structure when we moved here. GRIFF
