North Manitou Island History Tour

Filed under: Leelanau, boats, history, manitou islands, sleepingbeardunes, travel — Andrew McFarlane @ 9:21 am

North Manitou Island LighthouseThe Leelanau Historical Museum is taking registrations for their 16th annual excursion to North Manitou Island on Saturday, September 9, 2006. The trip includes transportation to and from the island and guided tours of the Island. Normally, you have to take an overnight trip and this (plus the fact that you'll learn a TON about the history of the island) makes it a great opportunity.

The fee is $45 each person, $40 for members of the Leelanau Historical Society. To register, call the Leelanau Historical Museum at 231-256-7475.
