Nonprofits: Tell Your Stories!

Bufka BarnExperts in outreach, communications, and media relations from the Chicago-based Community Media Workshop will be at the Hagerty Center next Thursday & Friday (Mar 1-2) to present two days of training on how to tell your stories to provide better programs and strengthen your nonprofit group.

The two days feature chances to meet one-on-one with communications professionals from the sponsor organizations and from area institutions such as Northwestern Michigan College and Interlochen Center for the Arts as well as chances to meet and hear from area journalists including representatives from the Traverse City Record-Eagle, Great Lakes Radio Consortium, Interlochen Public Radio, TV 7 & 4-WPBN/WTOM-NBC, Northern Express, Traverse Magazine, and others.
