Leelanau Outdoor Center Harvest Celebration & Fundraiser

This Sunday (Oct 7) beginning at 3 PM the Leelanau Outdoor Center on Port Oneida holds their Harvest Celebration and Scholarship Fundraising event.

The fun starts at 3 PM with games on the lawn with Fuzz Foster and a chance to try the climbing tower. There’s also a lawn concert with New Third Coast, Norm Wheeler and Andre Villoch and a BBQ with all the trimmings!

The event raises money for scholarships to allow more schools and students to attend “The LOC”. Their mission is to promote, through outdoor education, the discovery and development of positive character values that enrich everyday life. With top-notch programs, facilities and staff set amidst the beauty of Port Oneida – they definitely deliver!
