Leelanau Bees

Filed under: Leelanau, farms, gardening, photo — Andrew McFarlane @ 8:41 am

ApplebeeThe Record-Eagle has a feature on Leelanau beekeepers Bill and Millie Hathaway that has some interesting information about wild bees and the challenges of beekeeping. The Hathaways also make some great honey and sell it at the Leelanau Farmers Markets. The article also has a nice photo gallery.

Check out The Bees Needs in Traverse City Record-Eagle.

Bill and Millie Hathaway are also supposed to be doing a Demonstration Bee Hive and Honey at the Port Oneida Fair in early August.
