Photo: A Crescent Cast by Chris Arace. Chris writes: Ruins of the Crescent dock on N. Manitou Island. This dock was for the old logging town of Crescent. In the Early 1900’s it stretched 600 feet into Lake Michigan. We have a post about the ghost town of Crescent City on North Manitou Island (with another photo from Chris!)
