Heartwood Furniture & Fine Art Show

The Heartwood Furniture & Fine Art Show, an annual showcase of handmade furniture and art by Northern Michigan’s finest artisans benefiting the Leelanau Community Cultural Center, will be held this weekend (June 20-22, 2008) at the Old Art Building in Leland.

The Opening Reception takes place on Friday from 6-8 PM and the exhibition continues on Saturday from 10 AM – 6 PM and Sunday from 10 AM – 4 PM. The show features hand crafted furniture by Matt Joppich, Joe Buteyn, Joe Stearns, Bob Purvis, Jim Rantala, Larry Hammond, fine art by Mary Fuscaldo, Kaye Krapohl, Angela Schuler, Sue Quinlan, E.P. Lewandowski and woodturning by Larry Skendzel. Artists will be on hand throughout the weekend to greet the public.
