Consultant to Work with County Schools

Filed under: Leelanau, glen lake, leland, northport, schools, suttons bay — Andrew McFarlane @ 9:01 am

The Record-Eagle reports that Jann Jencka, a consultant with the Michigan Leadership Institute, will meet with officials from Glen Lake, Suttons Bay, Northport and Leland schools to help clarify areas where they might collaborate.

Regarding collaboration between independent schools, Michael Kenney, superintendent of the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District (TBA will pay for the consultant) said "Those things are easier said than done. We think it's a role we can play, and hopefully we can establish a process that will serve as a model for other districts."
