Beachcombing: September 2008

September 22, 2008/in backgrounds, beach, beachcombing, calendar, fall, lake michigan, Leelanau, michigan, news

I was wandering along the Lake Michigan shore yesterday, thinking about ways to make Leelanau.com a more fun, interesting, useful and engaging website. One thought that struck me as I wandered past all kinds of things that had washed ashore was how many things there are to talk about and how hard it is to find a way to present (and preserve) them all before they wash away.

I thought that beachcombing might be a pretty good metaphor and that maybe all of you could help by commenting with news stories you find, observations of the natural world, events you participated in (or are looking forward to) and other comments.
