The Traverse City Record-Eagle has a pair of stories regarding the future of Leland's Fishtown and of the Manitou Fishing Company (which is currently up for sale). Girls Basketball [11.14.00]
In Class C Girls Basketball action last night, Glen Lake (ranked #4 in the State) moved to 20-1, beating Elk Rapids 65-37. Suttons Bay lost to Benzie 56-32. Glen Lake meets Kingsley Area Wednesday the 15th at 6 PM at Suttons Bay.
In Class D action, Leland defeated Leelanau Schools (56-13) and St. Mary's beat Northport (68-8). Leland meets St. Mary's Thursday night at 7 PM at Leland School.
Winter Arrives [11.15.00]
Most of Leelanau County received only a light dusting of snow but Traverse City picked up 7 inches!! The TC Record-Eagle has a story on it.
