Cedar Haunted House [10.30.03]

Ski Resort to Re-open [10.31.03]
The Traverse City Record-Eagle has a story about an area ski resort that faced troubled times and (through the efforts of a nonprofit group) will open for the ski season this year. The resort is Mt. Holiday by Acme -- congratulations to all involved! Read the story.
Interlochen Wind Ensemble in Northport [11.03.03]

Budget Cutting Tour [11.05.03]
The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports that Gov. Jennifer Granholm was in Traverse City as part of a tour of the state to speak with community leaders regarding cuts to address a projected $920 million shortfall. Laptops for 6th graders, MEAPs and Merit Scholarships topped the list. Read the story.
