District Soccer and Football Playoffs [Oct 27]
The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports that the Northport Wildcats downed Leland 1-0 in districts for the third year in a row, scoring with 3:56 left in the game as the ball went in off a Comets defender. Suttons Bay defeated Traverse City Christian 3-2 last night and faces Northport in the district final at the TBAYS complex at 4 PM Friday. Read Northport upends Leland in soccer districts. Leelanau Halloween Events!! [Oct 31]
Tonight Cedar hosts a Haunted House at the south end Nelson Street in Cedar while Empire will hold a Children's Halloween Party from 6-8 PM at the Empire Community Center. Also, there will be a Little Saints Halloween Celebration at the Old Art Building in Leland (6-8 PM) and a Hotdog/bratwurst roast and Halloween celebration at the Betty L. Leelanau Ski Swap Sale [Nov 1]

Suttons Bay Advances to Regional Soccer Final [Nov 2] The Michigan Soccer Net reports that the Suttons Bay Norsemen were victorious by a score of 5-1 over Big Bay deNoc in the regional soccer opener yesterday. Suttons Bay will meet the winner of this afternoon's Big Rapids-Crossroads Academy vs. Harbor Springs Harbor Light Christian on Friday (Nov 4) at 3 PM at Suttons Bay. Go Norsemen!!
