Register to Vote [10.10.00]
Today is the last day Michigan residents can register to be eligible to vote in the November general election. Secretary of State offices, as well as city, village and township clerks' offices, are open all day to process registration forms.
Artist in Residence [10.11.00]
The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore announces that painter Melanie Parke will be holding an open house on Saturday, October 20th from 2-4 PM at the Crouch Farm (south of Empire). Melanie was instrumental in starting the Artist in Residence program at the Lakeshore and several other National Parks. You can call the park at 231-326-5134 for more info.
