Woolsley Airport Fly-In Breakfast [08.19.04]
The annual Fly-In and Pancake Breakfast is held this Saturday morning (Aug 21) at Woolsley Airport (north of Northport) and is a great place to see planes of all kinds (one year a C-130 flew in). You can of course drive in too!
BayView Plans for over 400 Units [08.20.04]
The Leelanau Enterprise reports that developer Marcus Yono presented preliminary plans for the second and final phase of the BayView development just norht of Suttons Bay. The plans call for 376 lots with 157 small single family homes, 120 large single family homes, 49 two-family homes, eight multi-family buildings, 31 estate homes, and three lots for civic uses. County 2005 Budget Cuts [08.23.04]
The Leelanau Enterprise reports that "cut" is the theme for the 2005 Leelanau County budget, with most departments directed to cut 3% from their budget. Read the story.

Suttons Bay Sesquicentennial [08.25.04]
The Sesquicentennial, celebrating the founding of the Village of Suttons Bay will be held next Saturday, September 4th. The event will feature a parade, community picnic, dance, ice cream social, kids' games, demonstrations and much more. Visit the Suttons Bay web site.
