Suttons Bay (student made) Film Festival [05.10.04]
The First Annual Suttons Bay Film Festival will be held this Saturday (May 15) from 4-9 PM. See a retrospective of projects from the past three years, the "Best of the Fest" from the ELC Film Festival and award-winning juried entries submitted by students from three states! A food booth will be open all evening and a silent auction of movie baskets will take your bids until 9 PM. Learn more (follow the "cherry dude" link).
Cherry Blossoms Out [05.11.04]
A bit of rain was all it took and now many cherry trees in Leelanau County are showing their blossoms. It looks like we'll have lots of bloom in the orchards this weekend which will go nicely with the morels out in the woods!
Vets Musicfest [05.12.04
The Lake Leelanau VFW will hold the Vets All American Musicfest on Sunday, May 30th from 3-10 PM. The event will feature food and several bands playing on VFW deck in celebration of Memorial Day. Call 271-9895 for more info!
