Pump Failure Kills Salmon [03.11.04]
The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports that a pump failure at the Platte River Fish Hatchery wiped out half of this year's salmon yearlings over the weekend. The loss is expected to have an impact on 2005 coho fishing. Read the story.

In Michigan Odyssey of the Mind action this weekend, Glen Lake and St. Mary's each sent a team on to the State tournament while Leland had all 5 teams medal and will send four to the State final. Congratulations to all! View results.

Leland Volleyball Wins Quarterfinals! [03.17.04]
The Leland Lady Comets volleyball squad defeated Auburn Hills Oakland Christian last night 15-3, 15-3. Tomorrow afternoon (Mar 18), they will face Battle Creek St. Phillip at 4:30 PM at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Read a Record-Eagle story.
