"Out at Sea" Dinner Theater [01.06.05]
This Friday & Saturday (Jan 7 & 8) at Hattie's in Suttons Bay, the Leelanau Players present a special weekend of dinner theatre. "Out at Sea" is a one-act play by Slawomir Mrozek. Performances, including a special three-course meal, are scheduled for Friday at 6 PM (and 9 PM with coffee) and Saturday 5 PM & 8 PM. Cost for the dinner performances is $35 per person ($15 for the 9 PM show).

Farmland Preservation Not Among County Board Goals [01.11.05]

Sassy Lassie Women's Ski Tour [01.12.05]
This Saturday (Jan 15) an all women's tour on skis or snowshoes visits Crystal Mountain. The Sassy Lassie offers women a non-competitive, cross-country skiing tour (nordic walking if no snow!) which benefits local community services through Active Women Now, a non profit that produces the Women's Winter Tour in Traverse City. Record High Temperature Recorded [01.12.05]
Yesterday Cherry Capital Airport recorded a record high for January 12th of 49°, eclipsing the previous record temperature of 42° set in 1992. The average high & low are 28° and 15°.
