Please join us for a very special evening on Saturday, June 26, 1999 at 7:00 at the charming and historic Bay Theatre in Suttons Bay. This event benefits the Leelanau Historical Museum and produces matching funds for a challenge donation from a generous anonymous benefactor.

the afterglow - 9-11 pm
Following the performance, stroll to Marina Park for the elegant Afterglow. Exquisite foods, wines, champagne, micro-brewed ales and cherry soda from northern Michigan's finest will be served. Dancing to The Harry Goldson Jazz Quartet completes the mood as romance fills the air this first weekend of summer.

the auction
At the Afterglow, a live and silent auction will be held feauring signed, limited edition broadsides of Jim Harrison's never
before published poem "Older Love," lithographs by Montana landscape artist Russell Chatham, a signature Legends necklace made in
honor of the event by Becky Thatcher. Items will also be available for viewing from 5:30-6:30 PM.
