The Bottenhorn Cottage rests on the west side of lake Leelanau behind a gently sloping lawn. Built in 1946, our cozy cottage is only 1 mile south of the village of Lake Leelanau. A quiet setting with 100 ft of private beach adjoins wooded acreage to the south. Features & Amenities Living room with large picture window and brick fire place is separated from dining room by french doors -- wood paneling throughout. Kitchen renovated and updated in 1994. Beach has some wading area with dock, boathouse and swimming raft. Catch fish right off the dock. Canoe and rowboat available with oars and vests. Full kitchen and single bath. Cottage sleeps 5 with queen bed in master and single bed and bunk in second bedroom. Dormitory area over boathouse with the most delightful sunrise view, this space sleeps 4 and has a half bath.
