at Jolli-Lodge Our Lake Michigan frontage offers you swimming, fishing and a range of water sports. Opportunities abound for bicycling and hiking. Games available include badmitton, shuffleboard, pocket billiards, horseshoes and tennis on our own court. Near Jolli-Lodge Spring Leelanau County's cherry blossoms fill the air with sweet fragrances. The woods are beautiful in their fresh green and the trilliums and other wildflowers accent the trails. Be sure to bring your camera (and a bag for morel mushrooms!) Summer You are only a short drive from the wild granduer of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Enjoy the music of the masters at nearby Interlochen, home of the National Music Camp. You can explore Leland, a picturesque fishing village that is a favorite subject of artists and photographers alike. Nearby Lake Leelanau features public beaches, great walleye fishing and weekly sailboat races. Upon Lake Michigan and visible from Jolli-Lodge are North and South Manitou Island, which can be visited by a boat which leaves daily from Leland. Lake Michigan also offers world-class charter fishing and plenty of room for water sports. Midsummer brings the cherry harvest and the National Cherry Festival. Fall Join all of Leelanau County in celebrating the October Color Tour of red, gold and russet forests accented with the rich green of the pines and the white of the paper birch...it's an experience you'll never forget! |
