It is a short walk to all village amenities and an easy drive to nearby villages, all of which have their own charm. There is an abundance of wonderful shops and restaurants, bike and walking trails, golf courses and other sport activities.

We furnish a generous self-serve breakfast which includes fresh fruits, in season, breads, cereals and a variety of coffee and teas plus usual breakfast items.

Our prices are $125.00 plus 6% tax for queen rooms, and $140.00 plus tax for queen-twin rooms if both are used or used for three people. There is usually a two night minimum on holidays and weekends. We often rent the entire upstairs for weddings or reunions, three couples, or families with children, although we do not furnish baby needs. Total cost per night is $350.00 plus 6% tax, two nights minimum. We take cash or checks, reduced prices for long stays, and welcome drop-ins. All shops are open early in the year, which is nice if you don’t like crowds, and have off-season prices. Of course, fall colors are absolutely gorgeous. This is quite an active area and beautiful also in winter if you enjoy snow sports.

We considered a comfortable, casual friendly and homey B&B, and live in our “cocoon” downstairs, so readily available for visits or conversations. The front porch which has a variety of reading material is for guest use as is the downstairs living room. We think this is a great place to live; we like our “job” and really enjoy our guests. (Well, at least 98% of them!)
