bio & notes
Glenn received his BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and lived and worked in New York City from 1978 to 1987 for such publications as The New York Times, Sports Afield, and The Village Voice, as well as for The New York Zoological Society, and The Central Park Conservancy.

Upon returning to Northern Michigan in 1987 he began a long collaboration and friendship with author Jerry Dennis and has illustrated four of his books:
It's Raining Frogs and Fishes, Four Seasons of Natural Phenomena and Oddities of the Sky (HarperCollins), A Place on the Water, An Angler's Reflections on Home (St. Martin's), The Bird In The Waterfall, A Natural History of Oceans, Lakes, and Rivers (HarperCollins), and most recently The River Home, An Angler's Explorations (St. Martins).

Christmas 1996 saw the release of Flight of the Reindeer, The True Story of Santa Claus and His Christmas Mission (Macmillan) by Robert Sullivan, designed by J Porter, with Glenn's illustrations, and they have been informed that CBS will present a Movie of the Week adaptaion of the book this coming Christmas. Sullivan and Wolff are now at work on another book Atlantis Found which is being designed by Emily Mitchell and Tim Nielsen of The Nielsen Design Group in Traverse City. That book will be published in the fall of 1999 by Simon and Schuster.

the artist "I have gone through a creative breakthrough this past year, finally getting back to one of the most important things to me: making fine art. I have been extremely lucky to have found a great gallery in Omena, Michigan, The Tamarack Gallery, that shows this work. It must be noted that this gallery is inhabited by Eugene, The World's Greatest Dog, and it is well worth a trip to this gallery simply for the Eugene Experience. "
