We walk every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 8 am at the Cedar tennis courts. This is a free, safe, convenient walking environment with a place to sit and rest. Reduce your risk of high blood pressure, high cholesterol and glucose levels which lead to preventable diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and painful joints. More people die from poor food choices and lack of exercise than die from cancer! Walking and socializing also improves brain fitness. Partially funded by the Leelanau Commission on Aging.
