Thistledown Shoppe of Suttons Bay, provider of fine yarns and notions, will offer Open Spinning Nights beginning Wednesday, June 4, 2008, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the shop at 419 N. St. Joseph Street in Suttons Bay. The evenings will be hosted by experienced spinners Susan Curtis and Sharon Vreeland, who will be using both spinning wheels and hand spindles.
Everyone interested in spinning wool into yarn is welcome. Thistledown Shoppe offers tools and materials for beginners who want to learn to spin. Knitters are also encouraged to bring their current projects and knit along with the spinners.
