I had the fortune of being on the South West Side of North Manitou Island Saturday night when the lighthouse was re-lit. It was really nice seeing a part of history happen.

According to this week's Enterprise, the light will be lit from dusk to dawn for about a week (until park personnel shut down South Manitou Island operations for the winter).

HE RETURNED TO THE ISLAND EVERY YEAR FOR OVER 50 YEARS.
His Book " Isle Of View " is a history of South Manitou ! written by Charles Anderson.
I will be sent a donation from our family
Thank You for all you hard work ,and may the light ever shine !!
