The Week's News
The top story was news that the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore will again attempt to address their Management Plan. Planning workshops are scheduled for June 20 and 21 at Traverse City West High School.
Other stories included the Suttons Bay girls soccer team falling in the state semifinals to Hudsonville 5-1 (and Glen Lake baseball and St. Marys softball losing in regionals) and news that the Leelanau Conservancy has closed on the purchase of the 145-acre Louis DeYoung farmstead.
