I'm about to watch "Unsalted," a documentary about surfing on the Great Lakes. I surfed Lake Erie off Point Pelee once a couple years ago. So windy and choppy, but definitely worth it! If only I lived further north. The "big waves" down here are deadly being that they typically are formed from bouncing off pier heads like Grand Haven.
