Arts and Inspiration fundraiser for Leland School

arts-and-inspirationThe Leland Educational Foundation is holding a new fundraiser created to celebrate the promise of students at Leland Public School called "Arts and Inspiration." It takes place on Saturday, April 25 from 6-10 pm at the Old Art Building in Leland and includes a silent auction featuring classroom art projects from the elementary students along with the diverse work of local artists. Live auction items will include experiences unique to the area, such as a sunset cocktail cruise aboard a vintage Chris Craft; a cooking class and dinner for eight at Martha’s Leelanau Table; and a Japanese sushi dinner prepared by teacher and traveler Karen Kirt. Trips to Snowmass, Colorado and St. Andrews, Scotland will also be available. There will also be appetizers and a cash bar and an afterglow at The Bluebird

The purpose of LEF is to fund enrichment programs and opportunities for the benefit of all Leland students. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $25 per person at Leland Public School, Leelanau Books, Stonehouse Bread, Studio 22, or at the door.
