 Becky Thatcher's gold and silver designs are inspired by the beauty of Leelanau, "land of delight." A nationally known goldsmith and jewelry designer, she specializes in unusual colored gemstones such as tourmaline, boulder opal, fancy sapphire, tanzanite, sugilite, chrysoprase and chrysocolla which she personally selects in Hong Kong and Bangkok, as well as thoughout the U.S.
Becky also paints vivid images with gemstone beads, Lake Michigan Beach stones, and a wide range of ancient and modern beads from around the world. The resulting "picture" necklaces and earrings capture the essence of memories, legends, and lore associated with Leelanau: its earth, its water, its skies and its creatures. |
