Process, Terms & Conditions
Qualified Organizations
Organizations that qualify for Leelanau.com's "Every Hundred Days" free web development project include (but are not limited to) the following types of nonprofit, community, government or educational organizations:
  • Churches
  • Public Schools
  • Public Universities
  • Museums & Historical Organizations
  • Arts & Cultural Organizations
  • Community Events (festivals, fairs, etc.)
  • Preservation Groups
  • Conservancies
  • Chambers of Commerce / Business Associations / Visitor's Bureaus
  • Clubs
  • Professional Associations
  • City, Village, Township, County & State Governmental Entities
  • Any organization with 501-c3 status

Terms & Conditions
Organization must be a not-for-profit, but 501-c3 status is not required.

Organizations must agree to the selection criteria (below) and that the decision of the selection committee is final.

Organizations agree to provide staff member with decision-making authority on-site at the offices of Leelanau Communications, Inc. (preferred) or by phone on the day of the project development.

Fees for Internet Hosting, Internet Domain Registration, Secure Server Certificates and any special online program registration are not covered by this project. That said, Leelanau Communications, Inc. will make available web applications that we have developed to enhance the project.

Selection Criteria
  1. Local / Regional Focus of Proposal (20%) [explanation]

  2. Results of Online Poll (20%) [explanation]

  3. Technical Feasibility of the Proposal (20%) [explanation]

  4. Selection Committee Evaluation of Proposal (40%) [explanation]
REGION SERVED:

Although projects from anywhere in the United States & Canada will be considered, the primary focus of Every Hundred Days is Northwest Lower Michigan.

ONLINE POLL:

To gauge public support, an online poll will be conducted. Any instance of "poll spamming" (multiple votes from individuals) may result in disqualification of the organization.

TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY OF THE PROJECT:

Proposals will be evaluated by Leelanau Communications, Inc. for technical feasability and to verify that the project would be possible to complete in a single day.
